The Great Wilderness - Mimic Infestation (Part 2)
This is the Utter Bastard DM Pack (Part 2). If you've ever wanted your players to truly despise you, this is a pack you should have in your arsenal. Making a return to a mimic pack was always on the cards. They’re an ever popular class of creature that leads to a lot of in-game action and fun, livening up any table when they’re around (even if the table is a mimic)! This time around we opted for some more unusual mimics, including larger options like a fountain, well and gazebo. We threw in some unexpected options, like a sign and bathtub, just to keep players on their toes. One again, each mimic is presented in its disguised form, setting the scene for some unexpected and exciting ambushes in your games!
The Great Wilderness is all about those wild places where adventure lies. From deep, foreboding forests teeming with hidden danger to soaring mountain tops where stone giants stand lonely sentry, from wide open plains where marauding tribes lay waste to those brave (or foolish) enough to settle there, to deep deserts where death come not just from monsters, but also from unrelenting conditions… these are all places that form part of the Great Wilderness. They are the places that are untamed and untouched, where ‘civilisation’ has never laid claim to anything. These are the places of wild tribes, terrifying creatures, and great adventure. The Great Wilderness does not have a central story idea behind it, but there are many stories contained in its vastness. Lonely, deserted towers, camps full of violent enemies, deep caves that may hide untold wealth, verdant forests hiding enigmatic ancients… the Great Wilderness is a place of great excitement. The Great Wilderness lies beyond the grasp of any king or prince, a place governed by unwritten rules as ancient as life itself. This is the place of true adventure, of great danger, where heroes are made.
